LET ME TELL YOU…♬

It all started with a Kitchen Blues Jam in 2004 and  from the beginning of 2005 – 5 musicians from Berlin and Brandenburg met at a Jam Session in the country side. Led by the spirit of music they created their own BlueSoulRock Sound and named the group ME AND THE WHITE RABBITS – groovy, crispy, powerful and soulful – a musical sharing of emotions about everyday, next door and the general madness in the world.

Since Summer 2005 they have been gig en around Germany, the Berlin Club Scene and as a welcome Support Band for International Acts including i.a. Canned Heat (USA), W.I.N.D. (Italy), Nine Below Zero (UK), Stoney Curtis Band (USA), Skip ‘Little Axe’ McDonald (UK/USA) Guitar Player Sugarhill Gang, Tackhead etc.

In 2007 – through Eddys Concerts the Band met Skip while he had his Solo Tour in Germany and they had a view Jams on stage at his Berlin Gigs. This developed a close musical collaboration that continues to this day especially in terms of studio work.

Since late 2011 through all the stage and studio experience it was an obvious idea to be more focused on work in the UK and Berlin Studios to develop new songs and to concentrate on the 1st Studio Album. Also since then the Band Leader/Lead Singer of the Band Johanna Wolle ‘JoWo’ travels regularly back and forth between London/UK East Coast and Berlin. In contrast to the previous years the Band developed a different way to write their songs and to feature GUEST MUSICIANS (scroll down)

The writing is now generally worked out online by sending and receiving files from Europe and America. It means also a regularly use of Drop Box, Wetransfer, Skype and Zoom Sessions, online Radio and various Studios in UK and Berlin. The latest online release of new material was GROOVE TENSION (EP) in 2014 followed by REASON 2 STAY (Single) in 2015 and Keep It In Mind (Single) in 2016. All Tracks are available on iTunes, Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, Amazon and Google Play.

The Electro BlueSoulRock Sound now has more influences from electro pop melodies, sounds and effects, supported by an additional acoustic guitar and percussion in addition to the usual BlueSoulRock Sound. The Songs are mostly penned by the Lead Singer JoWo and Hannes Schmalenbach (Guitar/Sound Engineer) in collaboration with Skip McDonald (Guitar/Programming)
